Who We Are

We are a group of animal lovers, banded together by passion and our belief that we are the voices for animals. Although not registered with the Registry of Societies, this does not make us any less zealous in our campaign to ensure that the numerous dogs and cats which cross our paths get the love that they deserve.

Our work is focused on:

·         Pushing for animal welfare, be it speaking out against cases of dog abuse or simply caring regularly for strays

·         Rescuing and re-homing abandoned pets, thereby giving them a second lease of life and a chance to be loved

·         Educating those who care to learn on the responsibilities of pet ownership via workshops and other events

·         Counselling pet-owners against pet abandonment

Our Core Pet Projects

·         Street Cats Sterilization (SCS) – To alleviate the problem of unwanted and abandoned cats, mostly due to uncontrolled breeding, we sterilize street cats in a bid to control the cat population. This also helps to reduce unnecessary euthanization of innocent cats.

·         Street Dogs Sterilization (SDS) – Similar to the SCS project, we also sterilize stray dogs, as we believe that this is a more humane alternative to culling as a form of population control. Stray dogs, like human beings, have a right to live on the streets too (although for most, living on the streets is not a matter of choice).

·         “Senior for Seniors” – The very first of its kind in Singapore, this program aims to match not-so-young dogs with elderly or senior citizens. These dogs provide precious companionship to the elderly, especially those living alone. There are quite a number of elderly people who love dogs but simply cannot afford to keep one. Through this program, dogs will be matched to the senior citizens, based on the dog’s temperament and the senior citizen’s lifestyle. Volunteers will deliver dog food to the elderly person’s home regularly, and also check on the dog and the elderly person to ensure both are healthy, happy and well.

 A Cry for Help

All food donations will go towards sustaining the abandoned dogs and cats we rescue, whether in foster homes, makeshift shelters in factories and industrial areas, or the homes of senior citizens pursuant to the “Senior for Seniors” program. In factories and industrial areas, the food will be fed by the security guards, who genuinely care for the unwanted animals. In return, the animals offer the security guards their faithful companionship. Other than our love for animals, we are fuelled solely by the support of private donors and volunteers. Your donations will go a long way in ensuring that we can continue our quest to help our furry friends in need.
